Real Patient

Real Patient - virtual patient platform

Currently, simulation-based medical education, in particular virtual patient electronic platforms, is being used as an effective method for teaching students, as well as for performing various tasks. Simulation technologies help the learner acquire knowledge and acquire practical skills.

The Real Patient-virtual patient system, created by our trained and experienced experts in developed countries, displays clinical scenarios on a digital screen and acts as a human simulation of a real actor. The created virtual patient electronic platform helps the learner to test his knowledge, acquire practical skills, and learn remotely using digital scenarios.

For information, it should be said that in the Republic of Uzbekistan, more than 90,000 students study in 74 medical colleges and technical schools, and more than 50,000 students study in 18 higher education institutions. In addition, 10 thousands of medical specialists out of 60 thousand continue to improve their qualifications every year. There is a great need for a virtual educational platform for them to gain sufficient knowledge and improve their skills.

In order to meet this need, as well as to develop the knowledge, skills and qualifications of students of medical educational institutions, Real Patient - a virtual patient electronic educational platform was created. This project is financed within the framework of the grant project of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Through this created platform by "Innovative Developers" LLC, it was possible to diagnose simulated patients, treat them, carry out examination methods and perform other processes through the platform. As a result, there was an opportunity to develop students' skills, as well as to assess their practical knowledge.

Students of medical educational institutions, as well as specialists in the medical field, have the opportunity to develop their qualifications and practical skills when needed. An opportunity was created for young specialists who are entering clinical processes to communicate with patients, to learn about their examination procedures and treatment methods. We believe that this will prevent difficulties and problems in future communication with patients and their treatment, also decrease the number of practitioners’ errors.
